CS1 - Unexpected Illness
A member joined The D&G in April 1995, aged 32. He insured his income for £270 per week tax free to the age of 60. Later that month he fell ill and a claim began.
The member is still claiming 13 years on and has received to date over £180,000.00 tax free. There is little prospect that he will be able to work again and therefore it is possible he could further receive over £200,000.00 up to policy end. He will also receive an additional tax free lump sum at 60.
