CS1 - Unexpected Illness
A member joined dg mutual in April 1995, aged 32 and insured his income for £270 per week tax free to the age of 60.
Later that month he fell ill and a claim began. 13 years on, the member is still claiming and has received to date over £180,000.00 tax free.
Unfortunately, there is little prospect that he will be able to work again and therefore it is possible he could further receive over £200,000.00 up to policy end in addition to a tax-free cash lump sum at 60.
